Despite her peculiar worldview, Hatou feels an undeniable urge to protect Yukari due to her charming demeanor. Nevertheless, Yukari's unique and isolated perspective has caused her to feel alone, with even her old friend Nanami Tenjou treating her cruelly. Upon Yukari's admission to an institution for those with Qualia, Hatou becomes entangled in a dangerous web of intrigue that she must escape.
